He claims that restructuring through national discussion will allow for further decentralization and devolution of powers, addressing the country’s mounting agitations.

The governor made the remarks at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs’ 60th Distinguished Lecture at Victoria Island, Lagos, on Thursday.

‘Fixing Nigeria For A Better World,’ said the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum.

The agitations and unhappiness felt in various sections of the country, according to Fayemi, are evidence of the country’s structural difficulties, which may be explored and amicably resolved through constructive conversation.

“Nigeria must adopt the following steps for a better world as a matter of urgency,” he stated.

“Before it happens, embrace political restructuring through a national conversation process.”
