The Nigerian Army, 81 Division, has revealed that the late Ernest Shonekan will be honored with 21 gun salute.
This was made known to the public by Osoba Olaniyi, the Division’s spokesperson, on Thursday.
According to him, Ernest Shonekan will be honored with the salutation on Friday, February 4th, at Ebony Vaults and Garden, Ikoyi, Lagos State.
He, then, urged residents who lived around Ikoyi general area not to panic on hearing the gunshot salute but go about their normal businesses.
