One of the officers of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), Flight Lt Abubakar Alkali, has been confirmed dead in a plane crash.
It was learned that the trainer aircraft conveying some military officers crashed inside a NAF facility while on a training mission in Kaduna State on Tuesday evening, April 19, with two pilots on board.
Confirming the incident, the family of the deceased pilot announced his demise in a statement signed by Alhaji Sule Dauda.
As per Islamic rite, the deceased pilot was buried at NAF base Central Mosque, Kaduna on Tuesday evening.
