The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, has dismissed the rumors of the minister of Finance proposing N105,000 as the new minimum wage, saying the news is false.
Recall, that WESTERN POST exclusively reported that the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Wale Edun, had proposed N105,000 in the new minimum wage template.
However, a recent post on Bayo’s X handle on Thursday debunked the speculation that Nigerian workers would earn at least N105,000.
He said, “The Honorable Minister of Finance and coordinating minister of the economy, Wale Edun has not proposed N105,000 minimum wage. The contrary story being disseminated is false.”
