President Muhammadu Buhari has reappointed Prof. Ishaq Olanrewaju Oloyede and Prof. Abubakar Adamu Rasheed as the Registrar, Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB), and the executive secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), respectively, for another tenure of five years.
This was contained in a statement released by Ben Bem Goong, the director, press and public affairs in the Ministry of Education.
According to the statement, the reappointment which was based on the recommendation of Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, takes effect from 1st August, 2021.
Also, Dr. Hamid Bobboyi as Executive Secretary of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) has been reappointed for a second and final tenure of four years with effect from August 1, 2021.
President Buhari also approved the appointment of Prof. Promise Mebine as the Director/Chief Executive of the National Mathematical Centre for an initial tenure of five years with effect from August 17, 2021.
