Respect right to freedom of expression, Sweden tells FG
<p dir="ltr"><strong>Sweden Government has reacted to the announcement of suspension of Twitter&#8217;s operation by Nigerian government</strong>.</p>
<p dir="ltr"><i>The </i>Daily Page reports Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed had announced the “indefinite” suspension of Twitter in a statement on Friday by his spokesman Segun Adeyemi.</p>

<p dir="ltr">Sweden’s embassy in Nigeria, in a series of tweet, told Nigerian government to respect human right of freedom of expression.</p>
<p dir="ltr">“Nigerians have a constitutional right to exercise their freedom of expression and a right to access of information. This must be respected.</p>

<p dir="ltr">“Safeguarding free, independent media and civic spaces for democratic voices is an important part of Sweden’s #DriveForDemocracy #TwitterBan,” Sweden tweeted.</p>
