Rosy Meurer has responded to backlash after a throwback video resurfaced captured saying she can’t sleep with Churchill because he’s just like a brother and mentor to her.

This is coming after Churchill confirmed his marriage to Rosy Meurer on his birthday message to her.

In his post, Churchill addressed Rosy Meurer as ‘Mrs Churchill’ while wishing her a happy birthday.

After posting this on Instagram, Rosy Meurer responded in the comment saying she has never doubted Churchill.

The Daily Page recalls how Rosy Meurer was the center of Tonto Dikeh and Churchill divorce.

However, Rosy Meurer in an exclusive interview with HipTV denied the allegation she wanted to marry Churchill.

She was quoted saying, “The claim is irritating to the ears; it’s just like saying ‘are you sleeping with your brother’.

“Like I have said before and I say again, he’s like a mentor to me. He’s someone I look up to.”

However, Nigerian went on to social media platforms to criticize her for her action.

Responding to their critics, Rosy Meurer wrote on Instagram, “THANK GOD SAY MAN NO BE GOD”.

David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.

The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”

Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”

Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.

Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.

Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”

Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”

Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”

Peter added, “Always look out for her.”
