<p>Nigerian singer&comma; Divine Ikubor popularly known as Rema has introduced a new genre of music called Afrorave&comma; a subgenre of Afrobeat&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><img class&equals;"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6398" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;thedailypage&period;ng&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2021&sol;05&sol;images-40&period;jpeg" alt&equals;"" width&equals;"660" height&equals;"440" &sol;><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>According to him&comma; his music sound is now known to be Afrorave not the Indian kind&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>He tweeted&colon;&&num;8221&semi; From this day my sound will be called &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;Afrorave” a sub-genre of Afrobeat&comma; my Album seals this claim for good&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>In another tweet&comma; the singer said his sound which all people called Indian is now what everyone sings now&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Tweeps reacting to the news&comma; &commat;JoeyAkan said &&num;8220&semi;I know Rema has not forgiven Nigerians for not properly classifying his sound&comma; and denigrating it with the &OpenCurlyQuote;Indian’ talk&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;But he has to understand that he brought something new into the space&comma; and we can only approximate it to what we can understand&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Forgive us all&comma; Commando&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
