The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, has revealed that the Federal government is willing to resolve outstanding issues with the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
He made this known to the public while speaking to state house correspondents after the Federal Executive Council meeting on February 16.
Speaking on ASUU’s one month warning strike, Adamu said he was surprised that the lecturers could decide to embark on industrial action.
He added that he can’t assure Nigerians if an agreement would be reached before the end of the 30-day strike.
