Sudan coach, Burhan Tia tips Nigeria to reach AFCON final
<h4><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Burhan Tia, Sudan&#8217;s head coach, believes Nigeria and Cameroon would reach the final of the African Cup of Nations 2021.</span></h4>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">While other major star countries failed, both countries finished strong in the group stages.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">The Indomitable Lions won Group A with seven points, while the Super Eagles won Group D with a perfect score, nine points.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Tia&#8217;s second match was against Nigeria, which they were defeated 3-1. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">A match where the Super Eagles conceded their only goal of the group stage which came from a penalty kick.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Augustine Eguavoen&#8217;s men, he feels, have what it takes to be champions once more.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">The coach revealed Egypt and Nigeria are both teams that are quite talented, and they also both performed admirably in the group.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">&#8220;They&#8217;re two teams that have a chance to go far in the competition,&#8221; Tia said.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Sudan&#8217;s AFCON campaign came to an end with a 1-0 loss against Egypt.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">This is the first time Nigeria would win all their group matches since 2006, under the interim coach.</span></p>
