The sultan of Sokoto, Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar has directed every Muslims to fast tomorrow as he declared Thursday, May 13th, Eld-el-Fitri day.
This was disclosed to the general public in a statement on Tuesday signed by Prof. Sambo Junaidu, the Chairman, Advisory Committee on Religious Affairs Sultanate Council, Sokoto.
The Daily Page had earlier reported that Federal Government declared Wednesday and Thursday as public holidays to mark the 2021 Eid-ul-Fitr celebration.
