    Suspected rapists, killers of Unilorin student remanded in prison

    The eight suspected rapists and killers of a 300 level student of University of Ilorin, Olajide Blessing, have on Wednesday been arraigned before a Kwara State High Court presided over by Justice Adebayo Yusuf.

    The Daily Page learnt that the suspected killers were charged to court on eleven count charge including criminal conspiracy, armed robbery, rape, culpable homicide, theft & possession of proceeds of armed robbery.

    The court, ordered the remand of the suspected rapists in Mandala Correctional facility pending the time the prosecution team led by the Anthony General and Commissioner for Justice of the State, Barrister Salman Jawondo fulfils his promise of getting legal representatives for the suspects who do not have.

    The court, however adjourned the case till 6th of July, 2021.

    The Daily Page recalls Olajide Blessing who hailed from Oke-Opin town in Ekiti Local Government Area of the state was gruesomely gang raped and murdered at her residence in Tanke, Univeristy road.
