Sydney Talker joins Nigerian music industry
Nigerian comedian, Sydney Egere, popularly known as Sydney Talker has joined the Nigerian Music industry as he launched his record label, Neville Records via an Instagram post.
The 24 years old comedian turn singer took to his Instagram page where he announced his first act named Khaid.
Announcing his record on social media, he wrote, “Finally, the time has come to boldly accept the birthing of a dream I have had for many years. It has not been easy carrying and nurturing this dream.
“MUSIC, we are 100% here. I have fought the good fight of faith, I have overcome my fears, I have taken lessons from the fathers of industry. Ladies and gentlemen, I hereby present to you NEVILLE RECORDS @nevillerecords (The New Town)
“My venturing into music and the quest of expressing my deepest desires without any limitations prompted the birth of NEVILLE RECORDS which will be the official structure from where I will be expressing the music in me without affecting the towel guy.”
David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.
The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”
Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”
Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.
Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.
Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”
Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”
Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”
Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.
Charles visited Kanayo to bring his wedding invitation to him in person. In the video shared by Kanayo, Okocha described him as a man who influenced his acting career greatly and, therefore called him his family and role model.
