Those with money and influence, learn from Davido – Reno Omokri
Nigerian lawyer, Reno Omokri has asked Nigerians with money and influence to learn from Davido.
This is coming after his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) emerged the winner of the Osun gubernatorial election in Osun State.
Yesterday, at the collation center, Davido was present and he kept vigilant at the polls to avoid the rigging of election.
It is no longer a news that Davido has been supporting his uncle as he even stormed Osun State on Friday and organized a campaign for him.
However, Reno Omokri has commended the singer for using his money and influence to support his family.
He tweeted, “Learn From Davido. Use your influence and money to support your family. Build each other up. Don’t tear each other down. Unite. Don’t divide. Be greater together. Don’t let the hater be the victor.
“Congratulations goes to the entire Adeleke family! Osun done and dusted!.”
David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.
The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”
Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”
Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.
Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.
Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”
Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”
Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”
Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.
Charles visited Kanayo to bring his wedding invitation to him in person. In the video shared by Kanayo, Okocha described him as a man who influenced his acting career greatly and, therefore called him his family and role model.
