Tribute: Nollywood donates N4m to late Rachel Oniga’s children (Video)

The entire body of Nigerian film industry, Nollywood has donated the sum of N4 million to late actress Rachel Oniga’s children.

Actors Jide Kosoko, Kate Henshaw who represented the entire Nollywood at Rachel Oniga’s tribute, presented the cheque of the N4 million to one of her children at the event.

Presenting the donation, Jide Kosoko said, “On behalf of the Nollywood, all the guilds, the organisers of the great event and other contributors, we are here to formally present a cheque of N4 million for the support of the late actress, Rachel Oniga’s children.

The Daily Page recalls that late actress died on 30th July, 2021 as result of a heart related disease, the family confirmed. 

Also, the family of the later Actress had earlier announced August 26th and 27th, 2021 as the scheduled date for her burial.

    Very true. A woman I consider poor(she lives in my uncompleted building) always gives me gifts of fruits, worth more than N1000 from her business.When I refuse,she insists.

Davido says he is Igbo by tribe

David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.

The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”

Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”

I Told Jarvis to Reject ₦3 Billion Netflix Role Over Kissing Scene – Peller Claims

Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.

Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.

Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”

Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”

Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”

Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.

Charles visited Kanayo to bring his wedding invitation to him in person. In the video shared by Kanayo, Okocha described him as a man who influenced his acting career greatly and, therefore called him his family and role model.
