Twitter promises to restore access for Nigerians to connect with the world
<p dir="ltr"><strong>Social media giant, and micro-blogging platform, Twitter has</strong><b> reacted to the indefinite blockage of its operation in Nigeria by the Federal Government of Nigeria.</b></p>

<p dir="ltr">This is coming after Nigerian Government order Telecommunication operators to block Nigerian user access to micro-blogging platform, Twitter.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Reacting to the new development, Twitter promised Nigerians that they&#8217;ll soon regain access to the platform.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Twitter said, “<i>We are deeply concerned by the blocking of Twitter in Nigeria. Access to the free and #openinternet is an essential human right in modern society.</i></p>
<p dir="ltr"><i>We will work to restore access for all those in Nigeria who rely on Twitter to communicate and connect with the world. #KeepitOn.”</i></p>
<p dir="ltr">Meanwhile, many Nigerian tweeps are currently using VPN to access the micro-blogging platform.</p>
