Unemployment: To survive Nigeria, youths need one thing – Obi Cubana
<h4><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Nigerian businessman, Obi Cubana has taken to social media to reveal the one thing that can solve Nigeria&#8217;s unemployment crisis.</span></h4>

<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">In 2018, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported that <a href="https://guardian.ng/news/nigerias-unemployment-grew-to-27-1-from-23-1/">23.1% of people working age were unemployed</a>. A steep rise from 14% just two years earlier. By the end of 2019, <a href="https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/301896-nigerias-unemployment-rate-rises-to-23-1-nbs.html">it was almost 24%</a>. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Also, in 2020, every countries in the world battled with Pandemic, COVID 19 and a nationwide lockdown.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">This particular outbreak of COVID 19 has resulted in many businesses shutting down and many more laying off their staffs. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">According to NBS statistics, Nigeria’s rate of unemployment rose to an unimaginable <a href="https://www.nigerianstat.gov.ng/pdfuploads/Q2_2020_Unemployment_Report.pdf">27.1% in the second quarter of 2020</a> – the highest in the history of Nigeria. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Nigeria’s unemployment crisis is rapidly getting out of hand, with around twenty-two million unable to work and unable to earn. Unfortunately, Senator Chris Ngige’s, Nigeria’s, Minister of Labour, speaking in, suggested the worst is yet to come.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Now, Obi Cubana revealed what can reduce unemployment crisis in Nigeria.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">According to him, creativity is one thing needed to solve Nigeria&#8217;s unemployment crisis.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Taking to his Instagram page, he wrote, &#8220;Good morning my fellow Nigerian Youths!!!!</span><br />
<span style="font-size: 14pt;">Today let&#8217;s talk about &#8220;SURVIVING THE TIMES THROUGH CREATIVITY &#8220;.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">&#8220;So it&#8217;s never really been a smooth ride for most of us, the entrepreneurs, and most other people out there!</span><br />
<span style="font-size: 14pt;">Most things that are planned with so much precision and belief they will succeed, end up not happening as planned!.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">&#8220;So here is where u survive through CREATIVITY!!</span><br />
<span style="font-size: 14pt;">Some of us set out to be Doctors, engineers, architects, lawyers and we actually ended up studying and passing those courses.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">&#8220;But the street is a different reality entirely!!</span><br />
<span style="font-size: 14pt;">Most of us apply the school knowledge and the street knowledge to be able to survive!!.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">&#8220;I mean how do u explain a first class engineering graduate working as a bank teller?</span><br />
<span style="font-size: 14pt;">Or a Political Science graduate being a bartender!!!?</span><br />
<span style="font-size: 14pt;">But men, survival is the key here!!.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">&#8220;Most of these guys u see that do skits are very sound professionals that have turned their wealth of knowledge to amazing creatives!!!.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">&#8220;I actually studied Political Science, and here i am&#8230;&#8230;.a serial entrepreneur, specialising in drinks!!!?</span><br />
<span style="font-size: 14pt;">We are an endowed people, and we should find our calling and make the best out of it!!.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">&#8220;Survival is a MUST for us, and a lot of greatness dwell in each and every one of us!!</span><br />
<span style="font-size: 14pt;">Find your calling, be creative with your calling, and show the world the stuff you are made of!!!?</span></p>
