US Embassy joins EndSARS memorial, supports police reform efforts
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">US Embassy has on Wednesday, joined Nigerians in the EndSARS memorial anniversary.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Today, Nigerians including Celebrities such as Mr Macaroni, Falz took to Lekki Toll gate were they mark one year of the #EndSARS protests that claimed the lives of many Nigerians.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">In statement released on Facebook, US Embassy also marked one year anniversary of the EndSARS protest.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">The statement reads below:</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">&#8220;Today is a day to reflect on the loss of life and property during last year’s #EndSARS protests. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">&#8220;We appreciate the work done by the various judicial panels and look forward to the implementation of recommendations and compensation to victims of police brutality. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">&#8220;We support ongoing police reform efforts. We encourage those who demonstrated for change to engage politically to achieve it.&#8221;</span></p>
