Wayne Rooney gets new job after leaving Derby County
<h4><span style="font-size: 20px;">According to The Athletic, Wayne Rooney, a former player for Manchester United, has agreed to take the D.C. United coaching job.</span></h4>
<p><span style="font-size: 20px;">The former England striker has rejoined the Major League Soccer franchise where he previously competed, according to Steven Goff of The Washington Post.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 20px;">On Sunday at noon, the former manager of Derby County arrived at Dulles International Airport with plans to finalize the arrangements and sign his contract.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 20px;">Chad Ashton, the interim coach, would be replaced by the Man United legend, who would continue to serve as one of his coaches.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 20px;">Along with Inter Miami&#8217;s Phil Neville, Minnesota United&#8217;s Adrian Heath, Nashville S.C.&#8217;s Gary Smith, and NYC F.C.&#8217;s Nick Cushing, Rooney would become the league&#8217;s fifth active English coach.</span></p>
