We are not dead yet – Ancelotti

Carlo Ancelotti, manager of Real Madrid, has cautioned Paris Saint-Germain that his club is not yet dead.

This comes after they were defeated 1-0 by the Ligue 1 leaders in the opening leg of the Champions League round of 16 on Tuesday night.

Kylian Mbappe scored the game’s sole goal late in the game, giving PSG a 1-0 lead heading into the second leg in Spain.

Real Madrid had no shot on target during the entire 90 minutes as PSG dominated the game.

Real Madrid, however, was able to keep them at bay until the extra minutes where Mbappe’s brilliance proved the difference.

“We didn’t play well, but we are not dead yet,” Ancelotti said.

Ancelotti, on the other hand, will be without Casemiro and Ferland Mendy for the return leg at home on March 9.

Both players received yellow cards and will be suspended for accumulating three yellow cards throughout the campaign.
