The series which initially aired as single season of thirteen (13) episodes on Africa Magic was released on Netflix with only seven (7) episodes in September 2021.

The series is produced “Smart Money Woman” produced by Kemi Lala Akindoju and executives produced by the author of the novel Arese Ugwu.

The series navigates around the life of Zuri played by Osas Ighodaro who appears to be financially successful but is indeed living in a fairytale of financial crisis and debt.

It also centers on the lives of her friends, Tami, a daddy’s girl and  fashion designer, Ladun, the Ikoyi housewife, Lara, the tough friend everyone needs in their life and Adesuwa, a lawyer living with a dead beat husband.

The series showcases the daily life struggles of Nigerian women. It also centers on friendship, relationships and how to be financially stable.

The series teaches women how to be financially intelligent and let me add it is a free money management course watching this series. This series explores the do’s and don’ts of becoming a SMART MONEY WOMAN.
