We have a lot of our favorite international actors who featured in Nollywood movies and they really killed the role given to them. In this article, The Daily Page highlights their names with the film they starred in.
Nollywood which is one of the film industries recognized internationally is derived from the name Nigeria and Hollywood. And the name Nollywood is referred to as the Nigerian Film Industry.
In the Nollywood movie industry, it is rare to see international actors (British/American) feature in a Nigerian movie compared to those cast in Hollywood movies.
As of now, Hollywood still remains the largest major film industry in the world, making it the most profitable movie industry on the planet, earth while Nollywood trails it.
Well, in this article, I will show you some British actors who featured in Nollywood movies:
1. Darwin Shaw

Darwin featured in Nollywood movies
Former medical doctor and British actor, Darwin Shaw has played in several independent movies including the Jilted Fiancée of Bollywood star, Lisa Ray in I Can’t Think Straight.
In 2014, the British actor featured in a Nigerian drama film titled Dry as he played the role of Dr. Alex in the movie directed by Stephanie Linus.
2. Joseph Mawle

Joseph featured in Nollywood movies
Joseph David Turner Mawle who is an English actor is best known for his roles as Benjen Stark in Game of Thrones, Jesus Christ in The Passion, and others.
In 2013, Joseph Mawle featured in a 2013 Anglo-Nigerian drama film directed by Biyi Bandele titled Half Of A Yellow Sun. He played the role of Richard in the movie.
3. Baboucarr Ceesay

Ceesay featured in Nollywood movies
British actor, Baboucarr Ceesay who is known for his roles in Guerilla and Rogue One, featured in a 2013 Nigerian film titled Half Of A Yellow Sun. He played the role of Okeoma in the movie.
4. Charles Venn

Charles Venn featured in Nollywood movies
British actor, Charles Venn is known for his roles as Ray Dixon in East Enders, Jacob Masters in Casualty, and Tremaine Gidigbi in Footballers’ wives, starred in a Nigerian movie titled Invasion 1897.
5. Mara Derwent

British actor, Mara Derwent has been featured in movies such as Osuofia: A Love Story (2003), Fallen Angel 2001), and A Fantastic Fear Of Everything (2012).
She was also featured in a Nigerian movie titled Osuofia in London where she played the role, Samantha.
Also, Mara Derwent was featured in another Nigerian movie titled Osuofia Goes To Miami which is directed by Agozie Ugwu and Veteran actor, Nkem Owoh.
6. Colin Raese

Colin Raese featured in a 2014 Nigerian dark Psychological thriller film written by Tunde Babalola, produced and directed by Kunle Afolayan.
In the movie titled October 1, Colin Raese acted as Reverend Dowling.
7. Danielle Brown

4. Accentuate the right part of your body
Wear clothes that accentuate the right part of your body. We all have different parts of our body that we love whether your long legs, curves, arms, neckline etc. So look for clothes that accentuate the part of your body you love best.
5. Do not buy clothes that do not fit
Never and I repeat never buy clothes that do not fit. It’s very disrespectful to you. Unless of course you are rocking an oversized look or a street look, but of not clothes that do not fit your body are forbidden especially if you plan on wearing a classy or formal outfit.
