‘I’ll no longer accept Naira but only Pounds and Euro to perform’, Portable says after bagging Headies nomination
Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable has stated that he will no longer accept Naira to perform at any show again.
He made this known to the public via his Instagram page on Thursday morning, 26th of May, 2022.
According to him, he will only accept pounds and Euros to perform in subsequent shows.
“I don’t do free shows and I charge Pounds and Euro now. No more naira,” Portable said in the video.
The Daily Page recalls that the Werey Olorin singer was nominated for two different categories at the 2022 Headies Award.
The Zazu Zeh crooner was nominated in the ‘Rookie of The Year‘ category and Best Street-hop artiste’.
David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.
The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”
Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”
Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.
Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.
Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”
Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”
Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”
Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.
Charles visited Kanayo to bring his wedding invitation to him in person. In the video shared by Kanayo, Okocha described him as a man who influenced his acting career greatly and, therefore called him his family and role model.
