Davido says there is still hope for Nigeria

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has declared that there is hope for Nigeria.

He made this known to the public via his Twitter on Saturday morning, July 16th.

According to him, people are already rejecting money being offered to them by politicians, adding that it is a signal of hope for the nation

He also expressed hope that the ongoing governorship election in Osun State would be free and fair.

He tweeted, “Pple rejecting money being offered to them left n right of the state today … GREAT TO SEE … there is stilll hope for Nigeria.”

This is coming after he rally support for his uncle Ademola Adeleke, the PDP Governorship candidate in Osun state on the 15th of July.

During the PDP’s party rally, Davido did hide his love for his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke, as he has often gone all out to support him, particularly in his quest to emerge the governor of Osun State.

There is a new report by The Punch Newspaper that APC, PDP, others party are devise new vote-buying strategies.

David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.

The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”

Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”

Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.

Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.

Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”

Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”

Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”

Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.

Charles visited Kanayo to bring his wedding invitation to him in person. In the video shared by Kanayo, Okocha described him as a man who influenced his acting career greatly and, therefore called him his family and role model.
