ASUU Strike: Will students totally ignored by APC still vote for them? – Actor Frederick Leonard asks, dishes out strong advice to them
Nollywood actor, Frederick Leonard has asked a very important question to students currently at home due to the ongoing Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) strike.
In an Instagram post, the actor wondered if those students would proudly vote for the same government that cares less about their present predicament.
Frederick Leonard also wondered if they will allow themselves to be brainwashed by APC and if they will be bought because of the hunger deliberately created in the land.
He wrote;
“Will any of these students currently on ASUU strike…. totally ignored by the government still vote for the current political party in the coming elections?
I’m Just Asking Respectfully.. Or will They Forget? Will They Be Brainwashed? Will They Be Bought Because of the Hunger Deliberately Created in The Land? Or will They Be Brave Enough to Try Something new and Different, FOR A NEW and DIFFERENT RESULT. I’m just Asking,”

David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.
The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”
Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”
Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.
Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.
Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”
Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”
Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”
Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.
Charles visited Kanayo to bring his wedding invitation to him in person. In the video shared by Kanayo, Okocha described him as a man who influenced his acting career greatly and, therefore called him his family and role model.
