Golf legend, Tiger Woods has been admitted into a hospital after a single-vehicle car accident in L.A. County.
According to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Tiger Woods had an accident in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning, February 23.
“The vehicle sustained major damage. The driver and sole occupant was identified as PGA golfer, Eldrick ‘Tiger’ Woods,” officials said.
“Mr. Woods was extricated from the wrec…then transported to a local hospital by ambulance for his injuries.”
His agent, Mark Steinberg, confirmed to Golf Digest‘s Daniel Rapaport that Tiger Woods sustained multiple leg injuries and is in surgery.
However, officials are investigating the cause of the accident.
