Nigerian singer Ikechukwu Eric Ahiauzu popularly known as Ric Hassani, is bereaved.
The 32 years old announced his father demise on Friday on Twitter.
As he mourns his dad’s death, he said his late dad died a week ago.
He added that his late dad was a great man and he learnt a lot from him.
“A week ago today, I lost my Dad. He was a great man, a very good person. I learnt so much from him, and he is my Angel now. Rest in Peace Daddy, ‘K.K’ loves you,” he tweeted.
In another post he said, “People like your song Dad, I knew your vocals on it will be good. Wish you were here, just one more week. But God knows best.”
The Daily Page learnt that Ric featured his dad in the song ‘korede’.
