Controversial Islamic Scholar, Ahmad Gumi has on Monday stated that the kidnapping of school children by bandits is lesser evil compared to killing residents in communities.
He disclosed this in an exclusive chat with BBC news Pidgin.
He said, “Kidnapping children from school is less evil to ransacking a town and killing its residents.
I think we have almost reach a climax negotiation and preaching with the bandits. And we encompass all of them so that w we can have permanent peace.”
