As long anticipated Big Brother Naija season 6 show kicked start today, Boma has been unveiled as the first housemate of the show, themed, “Shine ya eye.”

Below are five things to know about Boma who is already verified on Instagram:

1. He is real name is Boma Akpore and indigene of both Rivers and Delta States.

2. Only child

Boma is the only child from his family. He was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria.

3. He is multifaceted individual

Boma is a multifaceted individual- a model, an actor, a mixologist and footballer. He is easily at home in his area, Yaba, as he is in New York, Scotland or anywhere else in the world where his hustle has taken him

4. He once dreamed to be playing soccer

Boma grew up playing soccer, hoping to play pro some day and in 2003 he began his stellar modeling career before being chosen for a campaign with one of Africa’s largest Telecommunication networks.

5. He is a model

He took part in the Nigerian Fashion Week 2004, one of the most prestigious shows held in the country. Boma was also the youngest model to grace that runway and immediately went on to model for some of Africa’s top designers.

David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.

The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”

Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”

Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.

Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.

Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”

Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”

Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”

Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.

Charles visited Kanayo to bring his wedding invitation to him in person. In the video shared by Kanayo, Okocha described him as a man who influenced his acting career greatly and, therefore called him his family and role model.
