The chairman and CEO of Dangote group, Aliko Dangote loses brother, Sani Dangote, the Vice President of Dangote group.
It was reported that Sani Dangote died on Sunday after a protracted illness in the United States of America.
Before Sani’s death he had invested in agriculture, banking, manufacturing and oil services.
Sani Dangote who also sat on the board of several companies such as Dangote Farm Limited, Gum Arabic Limited, Nutra Sweet Limited, Alsan Insurance Brokers, Dan- Hydro Company Limited, Dansa Food Processing Company Limited, Dangote Textile Mills Limited
In a statement released by Dangote group on Sunday night the group confirmed the death of Sani Dangote.
“INNA LILLAHI WA INNA ILAIHI RAJIUN! It is with a heavy heart, but with total submission to Almighty Allah that we announce the passing of our group Vice President, Alhaji Sani Dangote today 14th November 2021
May Allah SWT grant him mercy and as it him into Aljannat-al-Firdaus,” Dangote group announced.
