The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has extended its ongoing strike again, entering its 196th day.
This is coming after the National Executive Council meeting at the union’s headquarters at the University of Abuja on Monday morning, August 29.
The Daily Page News recalls that ASUU strike had been on industrial strike action since February 14th over inability of the FG to address all of its demands.
The lecturers’ agitations include funding for the revitalization of public universities, earned academic allowances, University Transparency Accountability Solution, promotion arrears and others.
