Concerned with the recent spate of violence in Nigeria, the AYATUTU Pentecostal Ministers Forum launched a forum on Monday to advocate the spiritual war against ethnic clashes and general instability in the country.
While speaking at the forum’s inaugural event in Jalingo, Rev. Godwin Nyakule said that the concept arose as a result of the country’s glaring lack of social justice, particularly for Tiv and other ethnic minorities.
This forum arose as a result of the ongoing crises in Tiv and other ethnic nations in Nigeria.
Through this, the Taraba Pentecostal Tiv preachers were inspired by the Holy Spirit to unite in fulfilling God’s word by defending the oppressed with the Holy Spirit of God.
If someone prays to God for the people, he will hear and halt the ongoing crisis, oppression, and plunder of men and women’s souls, he stated.
