The Pioneer of Afrobeat, Fela Kuti has been inducted into Black Music & Entertainment Walk of Fame.
The Black Music & Entertainment Walk of Fame was created to honour African Americans with a monument for their achievements in entertainment.
Fela Kuti alongside other inductees including Smokey Robison, Berry Gordy, Cicely Tyson, Ray Charles, Tyler Perry, Yolanda Adams, Lionel Richie will inducted in the Walk of Fame located in Atlanta, Georgia.
He was was referred to as one of Africa’s most “challenging and charismatic music performers”.
