From Ajegunle to the world. Cute Abiola celebrates Odion Ighalo’s birthday
Popular Nigerian Comedian, Cute Abiola has taken to social media to celebrate Odion Ighalo on his 32nd birthday.
The 25 years old comedy skit maker took to his Instagram page where he wished Nigerian professional footballer, Odion Ighalo a happy birthday.
In a lengthy post on his Instagram page, Cute Abiola jokingly revealed how he made Odion Ighalo got signed to Manchester United club.
“So I decided to call Alex Ferguson, that’s former Manchester United coach. I told him to please help ODION. He said no problem because me and Alex Ferguson gather they,” Cute Abiola wrote on his Instagram page.
“He told him to come to Manchester United and I started gathering money for night bus for ighalo because I didn’t have much for flight that period. So he moved to Manchester United from ajegunle. He spent 7 days and 7 nights on the road. Thank God he sha Got there safely.”
He also revealed that he once introduced Odion Ighalo to join the comedy Industry but he insisted on being a footballer.
“Omo! How time flies. chai. I remember back then in AJEGUNLE when @ighalojude was disturbing me about what he loves to do which is football. I think that was around year 2005or 2006.
“Because that time ehn. People like Okocha, Kanu, Taribo west were my friends. They used to come to my house almost everyday. He told me to connect him with them but I advised him to be doing comedy. He said No, that he loves football. I tried to convince him but he was still begging me. but I was like okay no problem.”

David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.
The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”
Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”
Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.
Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.
Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”
Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”
Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”
Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.
Charles visited Kanayo to bring his wedding invitation to him in person. In the video shared by Kanayo, Okocha described him as a man who influenced his acting career greatly and, therefore called him his family and role model.
