Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State, has condemned bullying as a perversive culture that is incompatible with the virtues of education.

He stated this in a statement signed by Gboyega Akosile, his Chief Press Secretary on Friday.

During the inauguration of four new school infrastructure projects at Lagos State Model College in Igbokuta, Ikorodu division, Sanwo Olu condemned bully among pupils.

Sanwo-Olu informed the school’s students that bullying is not a show of bravery, but rather acts of physical weakness, and urged them to report anyone frightening them right away.

The choice of school projects we are providing is to increase the standards of our schools and ensure that you pupils learn in the most favorable atmosphere, the Governor was reported as adding. You must be well-behaved, and if something strange occurs, don’t be hesitant to mention it. Bullying will not be tolerated in our schools.
