The organizers of the Headies, a popular music awards show, have disqualified singer Portable over mad manners.
This was made known to the public via their official Instagram page.
THE DAILY PAGE recalls that organizers of the Headies Awards had released a list of its nominees for the 2022 awards.
In the list of its nominees for the 2022 awards, Portable who had long hoped to be nominated for a Headies Award, grabbed 2 nominations.
He was nominated for the Best Street-Hop Artiste category and also the in the Rookie Of The Year category.
Unfortunately, the Wahala musican as fondly called lost both nomination.
This is coming after he claimed affliction with dreaded cult group known as ‘1 Million boys’
Also, he had threatened on social media to kill anyone who wins any of the categories in his place.
However, ahead of the show, Headies officially disqualified him.
In the statement released on Tuesday, July 26, the organisers condemned the controversial artiste for claiming affliction with ‘1 Million boys’ and ‘Ajah boys’.
According to the award academy, the Zazu Zeh crooner was disqualified from its 15th nominees list to further pass a strong message of not condoning reckless and uncouth statements.
