Nigerian singer, May D has claimed that he was the one who brought Amapiano to Nigeria.
He disclosed this via his Twitter page on Wednesday afternoon, September 14th.
The Daily Page News reported that Davido carpeted DJ Maphorisa for crediting Amapiano’s success to Wizkid and Burna Boy. (See here).
In a newest update, Singer May D claimed he brought Amapiano to Nigeria and started the Nigerian South African collaboration of the genre.
He tweeted, “Na me bring amapiano come naija , and I have awards to prove that! We started the naija South African collaboration! I don’t like saying shit like this but y’all like putting me under the box.”
