Nigerian singer, Starboy Terri has taken to social media to publicly beg Nigerians for support, saying he quit school because of music.
The Daily Page recalls Starboy Terry, who signed to Wizkid’s record label in 2018, began to face setbacks in his music career, claiming that his label boss didn’t help him even though he had collaborated with him on one of his successful songs, Soco.
In his most recent post, Starboy Terri begged Nigerians to support him in his profession on the microblogging site X.com (previously Twitter), saying that music is his life. However, after entering the music business, he has experienced numerous health issues, including exorbitant medical expenses and ulcer troubles.
He tweeted, “Since I got in here, suffered so much cyberb*llying, All I wanna do is sing. 2018, after getting admission into Unilag 3 times and not making it cause of finances, I was ready in 2018 to begin study, I quit cause of this music. I gave my all to it.
“Lost friendships, family, just trying to find myself. Stanship war and distractions are something I know little or nothing about. Please just see Terri for Terri. This shit is my whole life …. Support my craft!
“Ulcer complications, anxiety issues. In and out of the hospital. Crazy hospital bills, Mum losing her mind, all for the music. Shit crazy. Jesus never fails, we go win finally.”
