JUST IN: Mr Macaroni and other protesters granted N100,000 bail

Nigerian Comedian, Mr. Macaroni, and other #OccupyLekkiTollgate protesters have been arraigned before a mobile court in Panti and granted N100,000 bail with sureties.
In a statement released by the spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, Muyiwa Adejobi, on Saturday evening, Mr Macaroni and other protesters were arrested on grounds of ”for conspiracy, conduct likely to cause breach of peace and violation of COVID-19 protocols”.
He said, “The command has arrested forty (40) suspects at Lekki Toll Gate plaza, Lagos State, on Saturday 13th February, 2021, for conspiracy, conduct likely to cause breach of peace and violation of COVID-19 protocols.

“The suspects had gathered at the Lekki Toll Gate plaza creating tension and behaving in such a manner that could cause breach of public peace without due regard for COVID-19 protocols major of which are use of nose masks and social distancing.
.
“The command has, however, arraigned the suspects today to the mobile court at Panti, Yaba accordingly but were however granted bail by the court. They will appear in court on the next date of adjournment, 2nd March, 2021, with the certificate of COVID-19 test.

“The command therefore assured the general public that it will always discharge its statutory duties as expected within the ambit of the law, while appealing to Lagosians to be law-abiding and go about their lawful businesses.”
After they were arraigned before a mobile court, the court mandated them to present their certificate of COVID19 test.
The court also adjourned the case till March 2nd, 2020.
Nigerian Disc Jockey, DJ Cuppy says she is now a new creation as she gets baptised.

Nigerian singer and latest groom in town, David Adeleke aka Davido has disclosed the identity of the person who introduced him to his wife, Chioma.
He made this known to the public when he was speaking with some of his groomsmen. According to him, it was his longtime friend and associate, Lati Biola introduced him to Chioma. Davido said: “You know that it was Lati who introduced him to my wife.”
As of the time of filing this report, Davido and Chioma are still in their wedding mood. Their wedding tagged ‘CHIVIDO2024’ has the attendance of celebrities, politicians, and dignitaries from all walks of life including Ooni of Ife, Obi Cubana, and others.
Davido engaged Chioma in 2019 and first addressed her as his wife in the year 2023. In the year, 2024, Davido fulfills his promise to wed Chioma after announcing that his wedding will be held in a few days.

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, AKA Davido, has assured the parents of his bride, Chioma Rowland, that their daughter would be respected, protected, and connected in their union.
The latest groom in town disclosed in the ongoing wedding ceremony in Lagos today where he promised Chioma “a lifetime assurance”.
He said: “I promised her a lifetime assurance. I promise you, that your daughter will be protected, respected, and connected.
“Mummy and daddy, I love you.”
