Highly celebrated Nigerian blogger, Linda Ikeji, has reflected on struggle days as model, blogger and others.
She made this known to the public on the occasion of her 42nd birthday via her Instagram page.
In the video sighted by The Daily Page News, Linda Ikeji reflected on her she started her career as model to now a well known blogger.
Linda Ikeji’s struggles
Linda was born on the 19th of September, 1980. Her love for writing fictional stories started at a young age of 10.
After she graduated from the University in 2004. In 2006, she started blogging as a hobby.
Prior before blogging, Linda started working from age 17, from modelling and bartendering to waitressing and ushering to support her parents financially.
After University, she launched her own media company, Blackdove Communications, a modelling agency and events management outfit.
She also started a magazine called FM&B which release its first issue in 2006. After struggling with both businesses, she decided to give up on them.
For FM&F, she struggled to get advertiser on board and also discovered how time consuming and capital intensive the project was, only two more editions saw the light of the day.
Concerning Blackdove, Linda had this to say, “I gave up on the office (Black Dove Communications) in 2010 when I couldn’t afford the rent anymore and moved my business back home. About a year later, the blogging I started in 2006 changed my life.”
