My mum bought Mr Macaroni his first phone ever – Davido
Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has revealed that his late mum bought Mr Macaroni, his first phone ever.
The award-winning singer made this revelation in an exclusive chat with Uduxmusic.
In the chat with Uduxmusic, Davido said, “The famous comedian, Mr. Macaroni, very famous in Nigeria, apparently, my mum bought him his first phone.
“And she also told me that anywhere she sees us whether I am greater than him or he is great than me, she always be there for us.”
Recently, Mr. Macaroni had revealed that Davido’s father bought him his first laptop ever, adding that Davido’s dad, Adeleke was one of his greatest inspirations, who taught him the act of giving and helping others.
David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.
The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”
Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”
Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.
Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.
Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”
Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”
Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”
Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.
Charles visited Kanayo to bring his wedding invitation to him in person. In the video shared by Kanayo, Okocha described him as a man who influenced his acting career greatly and, therefore called him his family and role model.
