The former president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has pleaded to Nigerians to support Tinubu as the president would be celebrating his one year in office exactly May 29th.
This was made known to the public by the former Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, to Buhari on Tuesday.
In the statement released online, the immediate past President gave his blessing and support to Tinubu for the remarkable achievements he earned during his first year in office.
The statement reads, “The former President also appealed to them to give their blessings and support to the Tinubu administration so that it can succeed in its efforts to build a Nigeria of our dreams.”
THE DAILY PAGE recalls that President Tinubu was sworn into office after the immediate past president, Buhari served a two-term of eight years between 2015 and 2023.
