Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems becomes first Nigerian female artist to receive a Grammy nomination.
She was nominated alongside Wizkid in the Best Global Music Performance category for the 64th Grammys.
Other Nigerians nominated in the Grammy 2022 include Wizkid and Burna Boy.
Wizkid bagged two nominations for ‘Essence’, Made in Lagos album which include the Global Music Album category and Best Global Music Performance.
He is nominated alongside Rocky Dawuni, Daniel Ho & Friends, Angelique Kidjo, Burna Boy, Femi Kuti & Made Kuti.
