Why I chose BBNaija over call to bar – New housemate, JMK reveals
New BBNaija housemate, Jumoke Zainab Adedoyin, popularly known as JMK, has revealed that why abandoned call to the bar ceremony to attend the Big Brother Naija show.
JMK disclosed this while speaking with Angel on Sunday night eviction, adding she just took her bar exam and passed.
However, she snubbed the call to the bar ceremony in order to make her grand entrance into the big brother Naija house.
Giving her reason, she said opportunities that come with BBnaija are huge and that she can’t avoid to lose the show.
She said, “It was tough for me. I didn’t make it to my call to the bar. It was either BBNaija or that. My result came out well so I can always do the call to the bar later.
“I do not want to miss this opportunity because it’s huge,” JMK said to Angel.
David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.
The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”
Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”
Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.
Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.
Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”
Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”
Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”
Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.
Charles visited Kanayo to bring his wedding invitation to him in person. In the video shared by Kanayo, Okocha described him as a man who influenced his acting career greatly and, therefore called him his family and role model.
