Fatal car accident have almost taken the lives many of our Nigerian favorite actors, musicians and public figures as they encountered a near death experience.
To God be the glory, these celebrities passed through the valley of death and they survived it.
After a careful research, The Daily Page brings to you 18 Nigerian celebrities who survived brushes with death.
1. Jide Kosoko
Nigerian Nollywood actor, Jide Kosoko survived a ghastly car accident in Ikeja Shopping Mall in 2014.
The accident happened when he was driving himself to a particular area. Afterwards, he lost control of his car due to brake failure.
Well, death is something no one pray for. The actor went to church the following day and gave thanks bro Almighty God for sparing his life.
2. Angela Okorie
Angela Okorie survived an attack from suspected assassins in 2019.
The actress took to her Instagram page on Sunday, 15th of December, 2019 and shared X-ray scan of the ten bullets removed from her head and two bullets removed very close to her eyes.
Her fans on social media gave glory to God that she survived brushes with death.
3. Jim lyke
Nollywood actor, Jim lyke is one of the star icons in the entertainment industry that survived car accident.
Jim lyke was involved in multiple car accident.
The first accident occurred when he and his close colleague in the movie industry, Emma Ehumadu were shooting a robbery scene at a movie location in Asaba, Delta State in 2014.
Another crash occured in Ghana on his way to the location of new movie.
Also another car crash in Las Vegas, United States.
4. Leo Mezie
Nollywood actor, Leo Mezie battled with Kidney disease for four years.
In 2016, the actor revealed he was diagnosed with a kidney disease.
But now, the actor is doing fine.
5. Stephanie Okereke
Nigerian Nollywood actress, Stephanie Okereke had a fatal car accident on her way to attend the Africa Movie Academy Awards in PortHarcourt in 2005. At the awards, she was nominated for the Best Actress Of The Year.
In an exclusive chat with Daily Sun Newspaper, she said that she received treatment atva private hospital in PortHarcourt.
6. Wizkid
Nigerian singer Starboy also known as Wizkid had a car crash with his newly acquired Porsche Panamera S car.
An eyewitness said that Wizkid came out unhurt from his car.
He also replaced the car with another new Porsche in a week after the incident.
7. Uche Jombo
In 2011, Nollywood actress, Uche Jombo had a head on collision with another car along the Lekki Chevron area of Lagos State.
She also came out unhurt in the car accident.
8. Paul Okoye and Peter Okoye
Paul Okoye and Peter Okoye had a auto crash in 2015 on their way back home from Ibadan, Oyo state where they had gone to perform for a show sponsored by GLO.
9. Bovi
Nigerian stand up Comedian, Bovi had an accident in 2015.
He was taken to hospital for treatment after having a minor injury. He survived the car crash and gave thanks to God for sparing his life.
10. Ubi Franklin
Nigerian singer Iyanya’s manager, Ubi Franklin had a fatal car crash in 2014 when he was returning home from a night party with friends at a club in Victoria, Island, Lagos state.
11. Yinka Ayefele
Popular gospel singer, Yinka Ayefele survived a car accident in early 2000s and lost his ability to walk.
Now, Yinka Ayefele is using a wheelchair to aid his mobility.
12. Kate Henshaw
Nigerian Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw s also among Nigerian that survived a car accident.
The incident occurred when was crushed by a BRT Bus along Anthony in Lagos state on her way to Airport.
13. Nonso Diobi
Nollywood actor,Nonso Diobi survived a car accident in 2010 along Lekki/Epe expressway in Lagos state.
He also gave thanks to God for saving him from untimely death.
14. Cee C
In June 2020, former Big Brother Naija housemate, Cee C survived a car crash due to brake failure.
She also gave thanks to God for sparing her life.
15. Cindy Okafor
In 14th January, 2021, former Big Brother Naija housemate, Cindy Okafor survived a car accident on her birthday.
She took to her Insta story to share photos of the incident.
16. Alex Asogwa
Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Alex Asogwa survived a car accident in January, 2021.
Alex has a lot of reasons to thank God as He spared her life.
17. Shola Ogudu
Wizkid’s first baby mama, Shola Ogudu survived a car accident in January 10th, 2021.
18. Binta Diamond Diallo
Wizkid’s second baby mama, Binta had a minor accident as she revealed on her Instagram page that a car hit her car from behind and her son screamed.

Nigerian entrepreneur, Soso survived a car accident on Thursday, January 14th, 2021.
He also thank God for sparkling his life.
