Haruna Bala Zurmi, the State Commandant, made this discovery when addressing press on the command’s actions for the year.

The command has lost seven individuals who were on official duty in the last year, he stated.

According to Zurmi, the command has received 1,578 cases and recovered approximately N56.987 million from various crimes committed in the last year.

He went on to say that the funds confiscated from criminals were returned to their rightful owners.

He explained that the instances included criminal breach of trust, theft, violence, trespass, burglary, and land disputes, among other things.

Zurmi stated that the command has apprehended many cars carrying vandalized public goods and that cases have been settled.
