Ralf Rangnick, the new interim manager of Man Utd has been cleared to take charge of the team against Crystal Palace on Sunday, December 5, 2021.
The 63-year-old German manager was appointed on Monday, but he has been delayed to take charge of the team due to work permit issues.
The manager will be in the stands against Arsenal on Thursday night while Michael Carrick continues to work as the interim manager.
Carrick claimed a hard-fought draw against Chelsea on Sunday and won against Villareal in the Champions League.
The new manager will speak to the media on Friday which will be his first appearance before the media.
The current interim manager said he hasn’t spoken to the former Leipzig boss who will take charge of the team until June and take on a consultancy role thereafter.
The new manager is a highly respected and experienced manager revered by the likes of Jurgen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel.
