Actress Chioma Akpotha cries out as thugs attack her polling unit

Popular Nigerian actress, director and movie producer, Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha has taken to social media to cry out after her polling unit in Lagos was attacked by political thugs.

Given a live update from her Instagram page on Saturday, Chioma said she was attacked and mishandled, adding that the political thugs snatched ballot boxes.

She said, “See them. These guys turned everything upside down. So all the Army and police personnel they said they deployed to help us guide our votes, where are they, what are they doing?.”

Meanwhile, a political thug was reported gunned down by a armed soldier in Kogi state, a report by Gistreel.

David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.

The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”

Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”

Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.

Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.

Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”

Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”

Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”

Peter added, “Always look out for her.”
