Cardi B reveals her son’s name, Wave fits him perfectly, gives reasons
American award winning rapper, Cardi B has taken to social media to gush over her son, Wave.
The mother of two took to her Instagram page where she shared adorable photos of her son as he clocked one.
To mark his birthday, Cardi B revealed that her son came into her life and stole her heart.
The American rapper wrote:
Words can’t describe how this boy came In to my life and stole my heart 💙🌊…..name fits you perfectly…YOU THE WAVE!
On the 5th of September, Cardi B celebrated her son’s first birthday with a car themed birthday party.
The 30-year-old rapper, Offset shared a throwback clip featuring the father-son duo and cute pictures of Wave to commemorate the milestone.”MY BIG WAVE IS 1 YEARS OLD TODAY I LOVE YOU BIG MAN ‼️” Offset wrote in the Instagram caption
David Adeleke, the Afrobeats performer known as Davido, said he is Igbo by blood. The singer shot back at someone who warned him about being friendly with Igbo people, saying he could worry about betrayal as a Yoruba man.
The X user, Yakbel, said: “Davido just dey carry Ibo full body, until when dem betray am before e rest. Yoruba boy dey frolick with Ibos in 2025, they want your head and everything you have to belong to them. You can never satisfy Ibos. Ibos are not people you surround yourself with as a Yoruba man.”
Davido overlooked the criticism and just replied:
“Lol. My ancestors are from the Igbo people.”
Nigerian online streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has revealed he convinced his girlfriend, Jarvis, to turn down a ₦3 billion offer from Netflix since it required her to kiss someone during the show.
Peller mentioned this during a livestream with Peter Okoye from P-Square.
Peller said, “Netflix offered 3 billion Naira my girlfriend, Jarvis to do a kissing scene, but I turned it down.”
Peter asked, “Do you mean N3 million or N3 billion?”
Peller replied, “N3 billion! I know you might not believe me, but I have the record of the video call. I warned them never to contemplate such ever again. I love my baby. I don’t joke with my baby. She is my life.”
Peter added, “Always look out for her.”

Nigerian actor, Charles Okocha has paid a heartwarming visit to legendary actor Kanayo Kanayo ahead of his upcoming wedding.
Charles visited Kanayo to bring his wedding invitation to him in person. In the video shared by Kanayo, Okocha described him as a man who influenced his acting career greatly and, therefore called him his family and role model.
