Thomas Tuchel has parted ways with Chelsea, Chelsea has announced today.
This happened after the Thomas Tuchel’s team was defeated by Dinamo Zagreb in an appalling performance from the two-time UCL winner yesterday.
The club has recorded losses to Southampton, Leeds and Dinamo Zagreb and currently ranks sixth in the Premier League after a hard-fought win with West Ham.
After spending the most in the transfer market on new transfers to equip the club with the necessary players whose performances have not been up to par, the club has announced the departure of the former PSG manager.
“As the new ownership group reaches 100 days since taking over the Club, and as it continues its hard work to take the club forward, the new owners believe it is the right time to make this transition.
“Chelsea’s coaching staff will take charge of the team for training and the preparation of our upcoming matches as the Club moves swiftly to appoint a new head coach.
“There will be no further comment until a new head coach appointment is made.”
